There are currently two Directors of Sport Performance on our staff: Paul Childress and Tom Corradino. Both directors carefully select the program and its components as well as oversee all training throughout the company. Athletes will be working directly with skilled individuals who have the knowledge and experience. Below is some brief information on each Director's educational and athletic career:

Tom is a graduate from the University at Buffalo's school of public health where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Performance and the Psychology of Sport and Exercise. While there he earned high marks in classes that were based on exercise science and physiology, nutrition, and psychology.

Studied under former Cleveland Browns Strength Coach Buddy Morris as well as world record holder in the Squat and former University at Buffalo Strength Coach Paul Childress

Paul is a graduate from Buffalo State College and holds both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition. Paul is the former Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Buffalo Bulls.

Prior to joining UB, Childress worked at Total Health and Fitness as director of facilities and fitness management. He also continues to be a consultant for elite fitness systems (a powerlifting and strength organization) and sells powerlifting gear

Paul holds the World Powerlifting Organization (WPO) world record in the 308 lb. weight class with a squat of 1147.5 lb. and has the third best total in the world with 2662.1 lb

In 2004 at the GNC Show of Strength WPO Childress became the first man in the 308 lb. weight class to squat over 1100 lb. and win the 308 and SHW weight class

Childress was a standout star in football and baseball as a senior, and, after a a redshirt season at Edinboro University, played four seasons at Buffalo State College, three of which ended with Childress claiming Division III All-American status

Upon Graduating high-school Childress was drafted by the Pittsburg Pirates organization but turned the offer down to pursue a career in football

As a senior at Buffalo State Childress ran a 4.52 at 260lbs and was attracting interest from NFL scouts

Angelo is currently a student at Buffalo State College, earning his Bachelor of Science degree as a Health and Wellness major with concentrations in Nutrition and Adult Fitness

- Indoor Shot-put record holder at Lancaster high school.
- Personal Shot Put Best: 55’ 2 ½”
- Mentored under the tutelage of world record holder and former University at Buffalo Strength Coach Paul Childress.
- Has completed multiple semesters with Dean’s List status.
- Currently working towards Westside Barbell certification.
- Volunteered as a Strength and Conditioning and assistant Track coach for Lancaster High School.
- Casey Larson Award, Directors Award, and 2009 Indoor Section 6 Sportsmanship award winner.
Matt Crawley holds a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from the State University of New York at Cortland where was enrolled in kinesiology courses that included: motor behavior, exercise physiology, graduate exercise physiology, biomechanics, research methods, and strength and conditioning.
