TRAIN WHERE THE PROS TRAIN – HOW THE PROS TRAIN. Our Team Training for off-seasons is designed for specific sport needs and programmed for 1-4 day per week training splits. The focus in off-season is to train the underlying muscular and neural factors of strength and movement that will prepare the athlete to compete at the highest level during sport season. The focus in strength training relies heavily on maximal effort and dynamic training in order to improve inter and intramuscular coordination and firing power. Once improving upon General Physical Preparedness participants are re-introduced to Sport Specific Preparedness leading them into the season with improved strength, speed, and explosive power. Each athlete is evaluated prior to and upon completion of the training protocol on sport related testing to show improvement relative to sport.
Our Team Training for in-season are designed to continue to build upon improving strengths from off-season training as well as maintain gains in strength, speed, and explosive power. Injury prevention although included in off-season training is a main focus during in-season and for this reason detailed warm-ups and active recovery exercises are included in training regimens. Injury rehabilitation is also included within training providing athletes with fast and effective methods to return from injury and a high level of competitiveness. The training protocol for in-season is two to three days per week depending on sport and occurrence of competition. Athletes are evaluated on maintenance of sport skills and possible imbalances throughout the competition season to ensure optimal training results.
